Tidland Corporation has made significant changes to its existing line of Equalizer Series Differential Shafts that will allow converters to choose the level of control required for the materials they work with most often. The new D4 differential shaft is designed to eliminate dust and improve roll quality, while enhancements to existing D2 and D3 models are designed to reduce setup time and deliver maximum control over roll build. The Equalizer -Model D4 differential shaft represents the latest technology for converting dust-free rolls with superior structure. Precise control of tension as low as 0.1 PLI allows converters to run ultra-thin films common in today’s converting environment. A unique, two-row, 12-ball, torque-activated core-lock design insures equalized tension across any combination of roll widths.
